LIBRARY POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

To ensure a productive and organized environment, the library upholds policies on conduct, resource usage, and reservations. These include general rules, circulation policies for borrowing and returning materials, event space reservations, and study cubicle bookings. Please follow these guidelines for a smooth library experience.

1. Library users are to observe silence at all times in all areas of the library. Students with improper behavior will be warned either verbally. Identification cards of erring students will be confiscated, and such students will be dealt with accordingly.

2. Library users must wear their identification cards at all times inside the library.

3. Library users must leave their bag on the depository shelf before proceeding to the library cubicles and the left wing.

4. Avoid leaving your valuables inside the library. The school as well as the Librarians are not liable for any loss inside the library.

5. Foods and drinks may be consumed at the right wing only. Drinks in enclosed containers are allowed inside the library cubicles and the left wing.

6. Library users must place used books and/or magazines on the designated racks.

7. Library users must use the door at the left wing as an exit only. Violators shall have their identification cards confiscated and shall be dealt with accordingly.

1. In entering the library facility, all CIIT Students and Faculty members are required to Log in, in the library log in form for statistical purposes.

2. As a courtesy to other users, silence in the library should be maintained at all times.

3. Eating is not allowed inside the Library premises.

4. As responsible library users, students should handle books and other materials with utmost care.

5. Public display of affection (PDA) is discouraged in the Library.

6. The Library is not responsible for losses. LRC users are advised to bring with them their valuables like wallet, money, jewelry, cellphones, etc. at all times.
